Rachel is the Student President of BASIC. She is a junior studying business. Rachel enjoys long walks on Heath Street while trying to remember where she parked her car, and she loves getting dairy queen...I mean, who wouldn’t? She also likes accounting classes very much. Or not.

It takes Rachel a long time to eat which means she is forced to eat mushy cinnamon streusel shredded wheat. Rachel isn’t a big fan of bad habits like not changing the toilet paper roll. She doesn’t like it when people are late, nor is she an advocate of the graffity in the lockwood cubicles.

Rachel really feels like her first year at BASIC was a year of knowing God more personally than she ever had, even though she grew up in church. Experiencing God’s love has truly transformed her - in the way she trusts Him on a daily basis, in her friendships and in her perspective on life. She loves serving as a leader in BASIC because she sees it as her opportunity to give other students the chance to receive what she did.
